Kings who write...
Mar. 31st, 2005 07:49 pmThe book I am currently reading is King James and the History of Homosexuality by Michael B. Young. I was reading it at lunchtime, and just put it on my desk when I got back to my office.
Tom, the carpenter, came in to talk to me. He glanced at the book. "I knew he wrote the Bible," he said smoothly. "I didn't know he also wrote that."
This struck me as extremely funny.
A good quote from chapter 1(page 8): "James Stewart was the only child of Mary Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley. It was a dysfunctional family from the outset."
