Spring... almost
Mar. 19th, 2005 11:03 pmI had a lovely day, and it's time to come back here. I've missed you all - and sorry I've gone so long without posting.
No point trying to catch up, though I may get back to things. After I recovered (oh so slowly) from a bad virus, I was incredibly busy. Still am. Here's a Day in the Life of
6:30 a.m. Woke up. Thought about getting up to exercise. Thought about not getting up to exercise. Got up to exercise.
7:00 a.m. After trying unsuccessfully to get my CD player to work, I went to the exercise room with my Walkman and spent twenty minutes on the elliptical trainer while listening to A Civil Contract by Georgette Heyer. I have the feeling I never read this one before - that makes is a particular delight.
9:00 a.m.
10:30 a.m.
I also got a new wallet.
11:30 a.m. I went to the Silver Snail and got this weeks comics on my subscription: Lucifer #60 (with a cover by Mike Kaluta, gorgeous), 4 #16, Catwoman #41 and Young Avengers #2. Looking forward to them all. Hovered over the action figure of Captain Jack Sparrow for a while but didn't get it. It seems to be $2 more expensive than it was two weeks ago. Huh.
12:30 p.m. Home for lunch: vegetable salad with turkey, followed by raspberry jello.
3:00 p.m. Went to the Pho-Bo-Ga restaurant on Somerset to meet
Afterwards, I went to
c. 7:00 p.m. - Walked home. Read and wrote (overdue) e-mail and did computer stuff. Researched hotels in Malta. Earlier I was thinking of booking at the Grand Harbour Hotel; but the British Hotel looks tempting. May fax them on Monday. Looked at pictures of Malta. Thought happily about Malta. Ended u being happily unproductive.
11:20 p.m. Went to bed. Good night, everyone!
