I just got back from seeing Kinsey. I loved it.

It's a delightful, thought-provoking, interesting movie, both funny and serious. Liam Neeson gives a wonderful performance. I think Kinsey has joined the ranks of my heroes. A man who uses knowledge as a weapon against ignorance - in the face of opposition - my kind of guy.

That's what freedom is all about.

And he was bisexual too.

And the movie made me cry in several places.

I'd love to know if all the people in it were based on real people. And why is it that all the movies I see send me rushing to do research? And why do I love that so much?

Why was I left thinking: fifty years, and there's been so little progress?
