And I went to see The Wilds Guys at the Ottawa Little Theatre with Beulah. Beforehand we ate at The Green Door and browsed the bookshop near it; saw many interesting yoga books, including a new edition of Iyengar's Light on Yoga which, aside from the new cover and a different shape, looks just like my own twenty year old copy. (Except that it is in intact; mine is in many pieces and held together with a rubber band.)

The play was funny, about four urban Canadian men on a self-empowerment weekend in the wilderness. I think the wildnerness won.

What's your opinion on Richard Hittleman's Yoga: 28 Day Exercise Plan? I grew up with it, personally.

It's great. It's one of the books I learned with, back when I was first learning yoga. Iyengar is the best ever but Hittleman is probably better for someting introductory that isn't getting into the more advanced aspects, or too much of the philosophy. Just enough.
