Do we need to leave spoiler warnings here? Just in case...

I can't believe it. Magneto is living with Xavier. Magneto rubs Xavier's neck and Xavier worries about his headaches.

Xavier and Magneto are canonically living together. Wow. Thank you, Chris Claremont.

What next? Rictor and Shatterstar?

And they share intimate little dinners. ;-)

Quick Q. Do you know why and when Callisto got tentacles? Is there any logicial reason for something so stupid?

Don't they just! Yummy! So we know Magneto cooks for Charles... or at least warms up stuff from cans for him.

No, I don't remember when or how Callisto got tentacles. I am not even sure I read the story in which she did; though I suspect I did. I certainly thought it was a bad idea when I saw it.

No logical reason for something so stupid except, I suppose, some writer or artist thought it was a good idea at the time. They were wrong.

Hi! you dont know me, but I can kind of answer your Callisto question.

X-Treme X-Men #45. She resurfaces, tenticles galore. I dont recall if she exactly says how she got them, but she mentions something about it.

Right - ! That was one of the arena stories, wasn't it? Or am I confused again? (I didn't like her tentacles then, and I don't like them now.)

Nope, it was the 2nd to last in the series. "Prisioner of Fire", 5 out of 6. Actually, here's a scan from it: http://www.boomspeed.com/emoshoes/xx45.png .

Thanks - good scan! I remember reading that issue, but I don't remember details. Must read it again. Hmmph; I want the old Callisto back.

No problem! I never cared for Callisto either way- never was big on her. Exspecially since the Morlocks kidnapped Angel.

The Morlocks have done a lot that I think they have yet to answer for. Mind you, since many are dead, that's a sort of expiation.... Of the Morlocks, I did like Callisto, who had leadership and courage. Others among them had potential I thought was never used. In a way, whether they were killed off or not, there isn't much of a place left for the Morlocks in the X-universe now: with mutants as a public presence, the hidden nature of Morlocks as 'ugly mutants' is irrelevant. It makes for interesting possibilities.

I like mutant groups living in hiding, though. What happened to that group that was underground in London a while back...? (Wish my memory was better!)

Thats very true. There is a Morlocks series, however I'm not sure if its worth reading or not. Scratch that, it was a mini-series in 2002 about a group under Chicago. I wonder if they'll ever bring back the Morlocks under NY...as a group of villians!

Oh, the group under London? the Poptopia arc. Um, I'm not sure... Except they (Kurt, Chamber, Wolverine, Angel) "rescued" a human baby from her mutant mother before the man with the extinguisher came through and burnt them all. I'll double check that...I think some survived?

I think some of the London underground mutants survived too, but I'm not sure we've ever been told what happened to them. I hope to see them again - I liked that story.

Yeah, some survived. I did too, it was kinder. And I enjoy anything with Chamber, so it was a plus. But it was a good story.

Chamber - yes, what a great character. What has happened to him since?

Mmm lets see. He was in the mansion for a short while but the whole Paige/Warren was awkward... I haven't seen him in any of the recent X-Men titles. Um, according to this (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/spotlight/showquestion.asp?faq=10&fldAuto=93&page=5), he's still with WeaponX.

I guess that's where it still stands. I hope we see him again soon.

Me too. He was always an intresting character. I never read GenX, but ever since he popped into Uncanny, I've been for his character.

I loved him from the beginning of GenX, but he was a somewhat confusing character - he talked like a London street kid, but turned out to be rich. He was intriguing - ! But I never thought he was right for Paige.

No, no. Paige and Warren are good together. Jono needs someone like Jubilee. Able to curse right back at him, and play mean tricks, all while knowing how to steal the beer.

I agree - Jubilee would be great with Jono, but I don't know if we'll see it. I'm in favour!
