fajrdrakoTuesday: an amazing yoga class. Level 2. The teacher decided to have everyone try Level 3 poses. Thre was a lot of laughing, a lot of falling over; it was fun.
Afterwards, I went to the Kam Fung Chinese Buffet for dinner with the Beaversails crowd - the local Horatio Hornblower fans. Trust them to find a Chinese buffet I didn't even know about. Capital was back from Korea for a few days, with adventures and stories to tell - she has fallen in love with an American soldier. Cool.
Wednesday: Went to Pat and Sandi's place for dinner with them and Beulah. Delicious roast ham. We talked about medical matters and I had an odd thought: that my physical oddities, which I have always called 'scars' and blamed on the scleroderma, might actually be caused by polio instead. I hadn't even known I had polio till a few years ago, when my father mentioned it in passing. I don't know if this has any implications in terms of whether I can do anything about it. I imagine not, but it seemed an interesting thought.
After supper we watched "A Wrinkle in Time", which Harry had taped for Pat and Sandi when it was aired on Disney. (The rest of us managed to miss it.) I don't remember the book well, but enjoyed the movie - it wasn't very slick or sophisticated, but it was good to watch. Funny: Disney movies usually are slick and sophisticated. It doesn't matter; the ambience suited the story.
Work: I think they are trying to exhaust me. Less said the better.

maboroshimaki's birds while she is away. Things are noisy around here. Even more than usual, I mean. Lots of cheerful chirping, and little songs in the morning and at night.
