4. Are you more drawn to a specific type of merchandise (t-shirts, models, etc.)?
5. Are you more drawn to a specific type of fan-produced work (fic, vids, etc.)?
Bonus question: If you are drawn, what style are you (anime, Disney, etc.)?
1. Are you more drawn to characters with specific careers (law enforcement, scientist, etc.)?
I am drawn to the law enforcement thing, and scenarios based on comic books - not necessarily superheroes, but I certainly like superheroes of various descriptions. I am also drawn to swashbucklers: exiled heirs, pirates, outlaws, vagabonds - people like Strider, Lymond, and Captain Jack Sparrow. I am drawn to British naval officers c. 1750 to 1820, and those they encounter, and to English romantic heroes and Regency bucks of the same era. I am drawn to medieval and classical heroes but I encounter very few of them. Occasionally I like arrogant power-seekers like Magneto or Lionel Luthor.
2. Are you more drawn to shows/movies with a specific setting (space, hospital, etc.)?
I am drawn to a European or British setting; secondarily to the Near East or Egypt.
3. Are you more drawn to a specific show/writing style (noir, humorous, etc.)?
Definitely not humorous. I am drawn to clever stuff, witty stuff that's twisty and subtle. I like dark, angsty material as long as it isn't horror - dark fantasy is great Mostly I like heroic material, conflicted heroes who act bad but are noble souls.
4. Are you more drawn to a specific type of merchandise (t-shirts, models, etc.)?
I like visual material - pictures. I like mugs with heroes' pictures on them.
5. Are you more drawn to a specific type of fan-produced work (fic, vids, etc.)?
Well, I'm drawn to the comic book format, and occasionally fans draw comic books or strips. I like a good vid but never seem to see them as much as I want to. I love reading good slash.
Bonus question: If you are drawn, what style are you (anime, Disney, etc.)?
I would like to be in the style of Milo Manara or Mike Deodato, Jr., or even P. Craig Russell or Michael Turner. (Hey, it's a fantasy exercise, why not?) I t might be fun to be drawn by Jaime Hernandez, and to look like Maggie in .Love and Rockets before she put on weight. I wouldn't mind looking like someone in the new Spider-Man animated series I like so much but can never find on TV. There's nothing Disneylike about me,
