From the Melbourne newspaper, The Age:
Copenhagen is pleasantville incarnate. The smart cafes, all staffed by young people of such astonishing physical beauty they make you gasp — and that's before you even see how much a coffee costs — are drenched in the May sunshine.

The article makes Denmark sound positively idyllic. For a piece of journalism about a royal wedding, it is remarkably well written.

It sounds wonderful, but re: the remark about the coffee: in my limited travels, Scandinavia was the most INCREDIBLY expensive country I have ever seen.

Copenhagen is a wonderful city. I've thought of moving there for almost 30 years, but never seriously until just lately. I never seriously wanted to leave the U.S. until lately.

Is there a link for this? I'd enjoy reading the article.

I haven'tbeen to Denmark (to my regret) but I recall the coffee in Austria as being appallingly expensive. Delicious, but worth a king's ransom.

I take it you've been there? I am envious! I'd love to see it - and I've always wanted to go to Elsinore.
