In memory of the Flying Graysons....

Last Tuesday I had my first yoga class of Level 2, with a teacher named Cathie. She was great. The next class I took, on Thursday, was Level 1 - disappointingly tame. On Saturday, it was a 'mixed' level. So it wasn't until today that I got another Level 2 class, this time with Donna.

I learned that the class I had last Tuesday was Level 2 Lite. The class today was Level 2 With a Vengeance.

It felt good, though. At the end of the class the teacher patted me on the shoulder and said "You did good" - I guess because I was the newcomer in the class. Nice feeling.

Then I read out loud to Marcelle and [Unknown site tag] from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm hoping to read the whole book before the movie comes out. At this rate, there should be no problem - I'm at page 75 already. While I was reading, the ad for the movie came on TV - the television was on with no sound, so we turned it up for the ad. Fun.

Please enlighten me?! Where do the Flying Graysons fit in?

The Flying Graysons were the acrobatic troupe consisting of Dick Grayson and his parents. The parents were killed and Dick was taken in by Bruce Wayne, and became Robin.

The reference is because when I do handstands or other scary poses, I think of the Flying Graysons for inspiration.

Right. I knew WHO they were; just didn't connectd on the second part.

I always loved Robin and his parents...the whole circus background. I'd think of them for inspiration, too

I love the Flying Graysons too. I thought the background of the later Robins was terribly tame.
