A nice day.
commodorified slept late, and I sat writing my apazine for the next issue of
Apaplexy, due next weekend. Most of it so far is about the Hospital Experience, so it'll be pretty dull for people who don't like to hear about other people's operations.
Then we watched another episode of
Burn Notice.
Then
lunacy_gal came over, and we listened to a couple of episodes of
Cabin Pressure, an example of successful pimping on
lunacy_gal's part. I don't usually like comedies, but this made me laugh. I do like radio plays - too bad they don't come my way more often.
We went for a walk. I got cleaner for eyeglass lenses at Shopper's Drug Mart, then we walking along Bank (which looked like both dust-storm and war zone) till we got to Fifth Avenue, then went to Von's for supper.
Everything looked good, though I have no real appetite and still not much sense of taste.
lunacy_gal had very delicious lamb ravioli. I had mushroom and chevre tart and gazpacho. It was very, very good. My taste buds may not be up to snuff, but they knew that much.
