Saturday...

Morning: went to Costco with maaseru and explodedteabag, and breakfasted on a Costco hot dog. I'd set my Stephen Fry alarm clock to get up, and everything.

I didn't buy anything at Costco, but as we were leaving, I asked if we could spend "just five minutes" in Defresne, the furniture store across the street. Turned out they were having a sale this weekend. We each bought things: most exciting. We browsed long enough to take a break for lunch at the Swiss Chalet next door, and explodedteabag went to look for canaries at the pet store.

Then we went to Best Buy so explodedteabag could buy Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Then back home, we listened to the Fringe Podcast for the episode "Brown Betty" - which I loved, and I thought a lot of the fans quoted missed the point of it.

The podcast led me to Lance Reddick's website, which I loved.

Then we had supper, and watched Hellboy 2. The movie reminded me by turns of Lord of the Rings (a good thing), Star Wars (not a good thing), and, more legitimately, Pan's Labyrinth.

Exercised my arm for all the time we weren't in Costco or Defresne's - including a session at the restaurant. Dead tired now.
