And a moment of thought here for the Horns of Hattin...

And the birthday of Horatio Hornblower.

Sunday...

Morning: I had a visit from Jacques. We went for coffee at Billings Bridge - I had a salmon sandwich for breakfast, and bought a few necessary item: bus tickets and laundry soap.

Noon: Tasia came over with delicious fresh vegetable stew (made from her garden) with Greek sausage and Ice Caps from Tim Horton's. We went for a walk by the canal - a lovely, sunny, warm day - and watched BBC Paris.

Afternoon and evening: Lil visited from Montreal and we went to Colonnade for an early supper, then to Bridehead and Starbucks, where we sat around and talked about, among other things, who should be our next Gobernor-General.

Also did my arm/hand exercises.

So very tired.
