a quick message re our friend
Jun. 2nd, 2010 09:53 pmHello all - this is she who is known as maaseru, who has just left our friend in the hospital once again.
Please don't worry, it's not very serious, but it is painful. Early this afternoon, while walking home (and she assures me she was not reading and walking at the same time) our friend tripped and fell, bruising her forehead and chin, and landing hard on her left elbow. After 6 hours of waiting, if I have the story straight, the xray was inconclusive and the doctor will at some point in the next hours decide whether to operate to get a bone chip out, or somehow manipulate the thing. Just how this removes the bone bit I have no idea.
Anyway, I (or she) will write as soon as there is news. Our friend says "Hi!" to you all, and looked cheery and brave.
