Torchwood: the Future...

There has been much speculation on whether there will be a season 4 of Torchwood. Over the course of the past week, my thoughts of the subject have changed several times. They have said, they have always said, that if the ratings for series 3 were good, there would be a series 4. And the ratings for series 3 were, as far as I can tell, phenomenal. But ( the latest news... )

There are many Torchwood themes from series 1 and 2 that were not resolved, that I'd like to see taken up again. For example:

• The Sleepers
  
• The fate of Torchwood Four
  
• The story of Captain John Hart
  
• The Rift - will it be controlled? Will it become a usable wormhole for travel to other times and worlds? will it be closed for the safety of Cardiff and the world?
  
• The changes of the 21st Century - what is this 'everything' of which you speak, Jack?
  
• Bilis Manger and his time-hopping meddling
