Caesar and Cleopatra...

I just saw Caesar and Cleopatra by George Bernard Shaw at the Festival Theatre in Stratford, Ontario. It's my favourite Shaw play; I love his version of Caesar, even thought it's far from my own interpretation of the man, and delightfully Victorian.

This time it was played by one of my favourite actors, Christopher Plummer. What more could I ask? Maybe the beautiful Nikki M. James as Cleopatra?

And there there as one of the best sets ever? And the brilliant costuming - especially for Cleopatra.

Loved it....
