Dawn's early light...

I was up early today. Not by choice. The phone rang at 5:33. I heard part of the message - a woman's official sort of voice, and a phone number. I thought it must be a call about my father, who is ill in a hospital in British Columbia. So I found my crutches and my aircast and hobbled into the living room, only to learn that someone wants someone else to work the afternoon shift on Friday. A wrong number.

Then I couldn't get back to sleep.

I read a few comics - why do I always find The Eternals so boring? The art in this incarnation is beautiful, but the characters still fail to interest me. I had hopes, since Daniel Acuña does lovely art and I like the writing of Daniel Knauf. And yes, the writing style was terrific and the art was beautiful, but I still wasn't interested.

Totally loved Echo #3, though. What a wonderful comic that is.
