Jericho and Waking the Dead...

A nice scary evening of British crime drama: Alayne and commodorified came over and we watched the second part of the episode of Jericho that we watched last week ("A Pair of Ragged Claws") and then both parts of the second story, "The Killing of Johnny Swann". This reawakened my love of Robert Lindsay.

Then we watched first part of Waking the Dead, called "Cold Fusion", with Sam West (sweet, lovely Sam West!) playing a very frightening serial killer. Of women. Spooky, moody photography, and the whole thing nicely psychologically fraught. After Alayne and commodorified left, I was glad to have the budgies to sing cheerfully at me while I check for monsters in the closet or under the bed. (Nope, nothing but comics books in there.)

This reawakened my love of Sam West.
