Back to the Friday Five - on a Friday
Aug. 22nd, 2003 11:54 amFrom The Friday Five, though I should mention I was reminded to go there by looking at
squashed's entry. (Thanks, Pumpkin.)
1. When was the last time you laughed?
About 30 minutes ago, when I read the article that
dargie posted a link to this morning on her LJ - hang on, I'll find the URL for you. Here. Cat flap.
2. Who was the last person you had an argument with?
Um.... Last night I argued over the phone (not very seriously) with my friend Lyn about whether the Nefertiti program on the Discovery Channel last week was a load of sensationalistic journalistic self-indulgence or a worthy representation of archeological exploration and academic uncertainties.
3. Who was the last person you emailed?
Brancher, discussing her stories in general, and giving starry-eyed feedback on her "Pirates of the Caribbean" story which I recently read and loved. Yeah, I know, it's not fair to mention it without saying where I got it.... Hold on a minute.... Yes, here it is: The Ballad of Jack Sparrow.
I absolutely love Brancher's writing.
4. When was the last time you bathed?
Last night about 10.30 p.m.
5. What was the last thing you ate?
A cup of warm soy milk about 9 a.m. If you count that as drinking rather than eating.... Let me think.... the last thing I ate was at about 7.30 last night: rice crackers with hummus, and a piece of chicken. I'm getting very hungry now. It must be almost lunchtime.
