My e-mail is misbehaving today: I'm not even sure it's worth trying to send messages. I will no doubt try in any case.

I was reading Shaw's Fanny's First Play and was amused to see that he mentions Lord Byron on the second page - the "Induction". At one time I was mad over Shaw; now I tend to find his style irritating. What happened?

Circles of Hell

I got this one from Dargie; and my goodness, I am suprised at the result. I thought my answers to the sexual questions alone would get me pushed to some nasty level: I suppose I ought to be relieved, but I am slightly disappointed. Daffodils at last

For a couple of months now I have been pining for daffodils. April has been a month of cold, snowy weather; about a week ago, we began to get crocuses. Today, I saw a lot of tiny violets on people's lawns.

And at last, growing by a house on O'Connor St., a daffodil.

Life is good.
