You have to set personal goals. It isn’t just about writing every day it’s about knowing what you’re going to write every day. and a lot of the time if you know WHY you’re writing what you’re writing finding your way from point a to point B will come.

the frustration for some people is they think there’s some magic formula that will bring your work to life… but there isn’t. I know writers from every walk of life who use every kind of program or outline or trick they can think of. and all of us know that it comes down to just getting the work done.

Sometimes you will fail and sometimes you will succeed. but if you don’t write the pages…
