The Friday Five, after a fashion....
Dec. 7th, 2003 09:45 pmI looked at the Friday Five this week and found no questions so I went back to Dec. 7, 2001, and got the questions from then:
1. If you were to go to a movie this weekend, which one would you pick?
Love Actually because I've heard it's good. Or The Last Samurai because I like historical epics and I like Japan, though I don't really like the sound of this one. See, I prefer to avoid American Civil War stories - with the exception of The Friendly Persuasion. So it depends what the balance is in the story, and I won't know that till I see it. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it looked good. When I saw the more recent trailers, I thought the whole thing looked overblown.
2. What movie would you like to rent this weekend?
Eat Drink Man Woman, which I've always wanted to see.
3. What one TV show do you always try to watch?
Smallville, of course.
4. If you (and your S.O.) were cool with it, what five celebrities (at the most) would it be 'ok' for you to have a fling with?
I'm not sure what 'okay' means in this context, but my celebrity objects of lust are currently:
- Michael Rosenbaum
- Alison Mack
- David Wenham
- Johnny Depp
- Robert Lindsay
Note that this is slightly but not entirely different from my 'favourite fictional objects of lust', which would start with Lex Luthor and Chloe Sullivan.
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Writing Christmas cards, Christmas shopping, Christmas partying, Annual General Meeting at work.
