Inception...

This evening I watched Inception with maaseru and Pim. We'd been wanting to see it every since the pre-Oscar publicity, but hadn't got round to it.

Wow. What a movie. Pulled me in and played games with my head till the end. And afterwards, we sat and argued about its levels of meaning.

Loved the way it built layer on layer of reality, and then reflected the one against the other.

Have you seen the Inception Chair?

I loved the way the story built on itself the way dreams to, the way the subsconscious does, so that after a while one started automatically accepting the imagery and irrationality of the story just as one accepts it in dreams.

Amazing effects. Wonderful concepts.

I still don't much like Leonardo di Caprio, but what a terrific movie.
