I found this article about Dauphin, Manitoba fascinating. Thanks to dewline for bringing it to my notice.

I've always thought a guaranteed income would be a good idea - that it would work. But not unless people want it to.

I find it particularly interesting that the government was even looking into the subject.

I wonder what happened to those people - or what happened in Dauphin, in general - after they pulled the plug and there was no more money.
