Enough pain, I said to myself, I'm going to the chiropractor.
Now, my chiropractor's office is way out in Kanata. "I'll drive you,"
maaseru said to me when we made the arrangements there, but didn't take into account my needing to go when she was out of town. So: OC Transpo it was, a trip that takes about 2 hours each way if you count walking to the bus stop from the apartment, and delay times becuase, of course, the printed schedule is mostly fictional. Especially at rush hour.
He's good, though. It's worth the trip. My back feels much better - here I am, sitting at my computer and typing. Couldn't do that yesterday.
It wasn't rush hour, it was lunchtime, so I treated myself to a solo lunch at Panda Garden, and decided to browse the Hazeldean Mall, which I've never actually been inside before. Got my last few Christmas gifts, and groceries.
Then on the way home I was texting and chatting with
maaseru (in Toronto) and Pim (at work) and it was great fun. Better than a long bus ride usually is. I also read the first two chapters of
Queen's Play on my Blackberry. Thrills me to be able to do that.
Then had supper at home with
maaseru, back safe from her travels, and with Pim, while we played with our Blackberries and downloaded cool free applications. Mine was causing me some problems at one point, and we were noticing differences in our 'Berries - all Blackberry Bolds, but we've changed some settings, and we have different plans.
Interesting. But after some fiddling with prbolematic downloading, I can now get the weather report on my Blackberry.
