Because Marion is enamored of Alex O'Loughlin these days, she brought over the first two episoes of Moonlight for me and
Is there any Joseph/Mick slash around?
Comments:
- I don't like Sophia Myles. Not sure why. Just... don't.
- Her role as a pushy journalist reminds me of Lois Lane - not a good omen, since Lois Lane is one of my least favourite characters in literature.
- Mick, however, is delightful.
- Love his home. And his bookshelves. I liked it that he (and Beth) had noticeable bookshelves in their homes. I can relate to that.
- I wish Joseph was in it more. I"m very intrigued by him. I like the old ones.
- Reasonably predictable plots in both episodes, but I think it's more interested in character development than innovative stories.
- The reporter, Julie, in "Out of the Past" was played by Lisa Sheridan, who looked very familiar to me, but IMDb doesn't list her as having been in anything I've seen. Wonder who I was thinking of?
- I rather wish Mick was a blood-drinker in the traditional sense. Vampires who don't drink blood from people seem to me to be missing the point a little.... Wimpy. Emasculated. (Evampirated?) On the other hand, Alex O'Loughlin is so attractive I really don't care. I'm not as hooked on him as Marion, but my goodness, he is fine.
- Mick St. John is a good vampire name.
