I enjoyed the episode, though.
Comments:
- Sarah Ellis seemed somewhat less artificial and bland to me this time - I still didn't like her at all, but I liked her role in the story more than last week's.
- I liked getting the Chechnyan mafia in on the scam to catch Donovan, because what Chechnyan mafioso's heart isn't moved by the peril of Chechnyan orphans?
- I thought the FAA packet would have disappeared from Neal's hiding place when he went back for it, but no, it was there and Sarah found it. I liked it that Peter got it back for Neal. Why didn't Neal just ask Peter in the first place?
- One of the things I like about Mozzie is his quotations; but he seems to have stopped quoting stuff. What, Peter says he finds the quotes annoying and Mozzie stops? If Peter tells Neal something annoys him, Neal just does more. With a smile. I don't like the pattern of Neal interacting with Mozzie and Peter interacting with Jones and Diana. I want more direct banter and interaction between Peter and Neal. Okay, to be honest, I want the Neal and Peter Action-Romance Hour.
- I do like Neal doing undercover work, though, and I enjoyed the Texas Hold Em game.
- When Donovan appeared,
maaser and
explodedteabag both said, "That's John Laroquette!" and I spent the rest of the show trying to recognize the man. Totally failed. Turns out the only time I ever saw him, he was in Klingon makeup. It would be like trying to recognize Paul Kasey. Chalk it up as another celebrity I don't know anything about!
- I miss Elizabeth and the domestic scenes.
- Loved Jones and Diana as the adopting couple. I am becoming more and more of a Diana fan. She's gorgeous. Also smart, brave, etc.
- Why was Mozzie thanking Neal? I didn't understand that.
