Tonight we watched White Collar: 2x05, "Unfinished Business", the best episode yet this season. Comments:
- Nice use of the 'who killed Kate' plot, with Neal and Mozzie going after the physical evidence and the black box of the plane. But what on earth could the black box tell them?
- Loved seeing Neal undercover as an assassin. Love it!
- Not too much Mozzie, thank goodness, and what we did see of Mozzie, he was less goofy and more reliable than we've been seeing this season. Good. I was starting to find him just a little annoying.
- Not enough interaction between Peter and Neal, but what there was, was wonderful. I want more of Peter, period. More screen time, more dialogue. I'm a Peter fan, dammit!
- Wouldn't mind more of Diana, either.
- Loved seeing Neal in clothes other than a suit and tie. I'm not really a big fan of suits and ties, to be honest. (I wish Ianto had worn other stuff more. But I digress.)
- Loved Peter's arrival to catch Steve Price before he could shoot Neal.
- Sarah Ellis wasn't very interesting, considering all the screen time and dialogue she had. I got impatient.
- This is the second episode of White Collar in which Canadians have been mentioned, the first being the Pilot. They even mentioned Toronto by name this time. In my experience, it's almost unprecedented for an American show to mention Canada, or imply in any way that Canada exists. British shows sometimes do. But - twice! What's with that?
