svdodecals Challenge #21: in 144 words, show us the short "missing scene" of your choice from "Exile," "Phoenix," or "Extinction". This is from "Extinction" - right after the end.

Priorities
One thing at a time, thought Clark, as he fastened the Kent Farm sign. Getting things in order. Lana... was gone.
The good-bye had been difficult, because he'd wanted her for years, and she represented something he'd always dreamed of. The life he might have had, if he'd only been Clark, the Kent's son. An overgrown farm boy with no powers, no meteor shower, no lost planets and ghost father - just a normal guy with a telescope who wanted the girl next door.
He wasn't that normal person. He was Kal-El, last son of Krypton, a not-so-normal guy who wanted Lex Luthor.
Okay, so lots of people wanted Lex, men and women both, sometimes for his body, sometimes for his money, sometimes for his smarts. Clark worried about the competition.
He picked up the phone and dialed. "Lex Luthor."
"Lex. Can I come over?"
