So while the Norwegians were saying, "What the hell's that?" the Russian weapons scientists were saying, "Oh, shit." And The Times has footage.

But since I just finished reading Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett - good timing, considering all the snow we're getting in Ottawa this week - I was also amused to see this article liked to the Wired info about the Norwegian lights: Strange Triangular Snowflakes. Tiffany Aching's pointy witch hat was triangular, I'm sure....
