Good-bye to the TARDIS...

auriaephiala pointed me to an interview with Russell T Davies on the end of his work on Doctor Who. There's a nice interview here, but the item I liked best was simply a quote:

...We wanted everyone to have this British, eccentric, pacifist hero.

That sums up the character so well.

And a nice reference by Davies to the TARDIS as "this old bird". How... disrespectful!

And I liked hearing him mention the people who worked so hard: "John Barrowman, God bless him."
