I don't remember Quentin... oh, wait a minute, I do. Would have to watch it again to get a sense of him but I can see a level of misguided incompetence there. He didn't achieve what he wanted to achieve, not exactly, and almost lost Buffy. It could be that he's... twisted. Which would explain problems on the Council, too.

Angelus He just usually manages to elicit a mental groan from me, as a character.
I can understand that. I don't feel that way - Angelus made me grin, there are far more groan-worthy characters in the show. (I groan when I see Xander, for example.)
