Assessment: Day One
Gwen counted the ways she fucked up her first day.
She freed the sex alien by throwing the chisel at Owen. He asked for it, but still. Her mistake. Then Jack messed up later, and Owen too.
She ruined the interrogation by snogging Carys. Pheromones made her do it, but she hadn't exactly resisted, had she? Or wanted to? She'd loved it.
She was lucky to escape. Owen had fared no better. He was lucky, too.
Worse, they'd seen her snogging the alien. Damn CCTV.
On the other hand - surely the worst was over now.
She'd do better tomorrow.

Yeah, Gwen's first day was pretty terrible. And the next adventure we see didn't get much better for her. I like the way she had the courage to carry on and learn to cope with the things the Rift threw at her.
