The one I'm most likely to commit is greed. The one I have most trouble with is lust.

But I think I have my share of each one of them!

I'm having a spot of trouble with gluttony. *sigh* I hate it when my clothes start getting too tight.

I feel almost guilty about wishing that calorie-free food existed. Then one could indulge without consequences. *sigh* The guilt is because food is supposed to be nutritional. But I don't eat chocolate for its nutritional value!

It isn't as if we can entirely do without food. It's always a quandary.

I wouldn't want to do without food - that way lie eating disorders and misery. It's just the extras, like chocolate, that I'd want to be calorie-free!

My problem is not particularly with sweets (though I like them) or even creamy stuff - that's my downfall; I love butter and rich cream. But that isn't even it. It's that I like to eat a lot of everything. I just wish I had a little less appetite.

I too have problems with all seven. Ordering these sins (as wijsgeer did), I would be prone to:

sloth, pride, lust, anger, greed, gluttony, envy

If "punning" was a sin (and I'm sure that, my dear, you would define it that way), it would probably come first. However, I suppose I would tend to view it as an example of "pride" (which *is* reflected in the above).

Anger and lust or the ones I have best under control. However, I have had to deal with temptations to *all* of them at one time or another.

LOL! I might want to, but I tend never to talk about 'sin' when I discuss moral/ethical choices. The word had the wrong connotations. If there is sin involved, the sin is not the pun, but in the failure to be kind to the listener by holding back.

I will agree that punning and pride are closely connected. Punsters are always so proud of their puns (and then to repeat them), which I have trouble understanding.

I so envy you your alacrity with screencaps and image transferring and all that lovely, self-indulgent, time-consuming fun stuff! I don't dare let myself start to get into it, or I'd get nothing else done in my life. Ever.

I just love doing it way too much! I was having fun making icons (inexpertly) over the weeked, searching out and downloading screencaps. Ah, what fun. I found some really delightful shots of Toshiko.
