Night View
Ianto followed Jack onto the Millennium Centre roof. Frost glittered over the city, catching glints of reflected lights in the darkness. Cars cast ribbons of red along the roads. The air was hazy, and Ianto wondered whether it would snow before morning. He shivered. "Jack?" And then, more loudly, "Jack!"
Jack turned to him. "Look at it. This place. So beautiful. Full of potential. Pollution, crime, it doesn't matter. This city has a future still. Nuclear winter will not happen here."
Ianto moved closer, and Jack pulled him into an embrace. "I love your planet."
"So do I," said Ianto.
