That's not really telling though - an anecdote about lalala timeloop misses most of the important things. Like most of Jack's stories seem to.
I think Jack probably didn't share much that he was ashamed of with Rose and the Doctor - he was trying to live up to them after all. And I had the impression Jack was actively repressing what happened to Grey.
I think the Doctor (and Rose) knew more about Jack than anyone else has ever known
I can kind of see Jack sharing painful memories with them. Maybe, if something brought them up.
I think Rose and the Doctor had the best idea of who Jack was/could be at that time. But I'm not convinced they knew a great deal of his personal history other than cheerfully lecherous tales.
