Bang and Blame

The first time Captain John kissed Captain Jack, they were on the run, with the sound of gunshots behind them. Hot lips and groping hands, they mixed greed with risk. They were in the wrong time and the wrong place and they did it because it was outrageous, it was stupid, it was exciting.

Then they did it again because of what it did to their heart-rates.

"Fuck," said John, gasping.

"Later," said Jack.

Then they ran, laughing, finding an ambush point, returning fire with glee. When they looked at each other, pulses raced.

This was what life was about.
