The cable-digital saga...

The cable guy came and went. Nice man, who sorted out my problem without fixing it - that is to say, there's "a hum in the box" and that box is somewhere on the second floor of the apartment building - I'm not the only one having problems. He said it's probably also affecting my internet connection, so if things are slow online, that's why.

Some magician will fix the thing in the near future.

Meanwhile, I'm out of luck if I want to watch channel 209, 210 or 222 - prime Smallville channels. Oh well. I have it all on video anyway, right?

At least if it isn't just you, and it's affecting several other people in the building, the company will be motivated to fix it fast, you'd think. Good luck!

Yes! May it be so! Just like the government of Ontario should be motivated to get our full electrical power back quickly and properly, right?

(I miss air conditioning..... I really, really miss my air conditioning.)
