Yes, absolutely. Sometimes I go into a bookstore (or a library) and every single book on the shelves looks interesting and tempting.

Do you have a habit of buying up books far quicker than you could possibly read them?

Yes, but this isn't entirely a bad thing. The alternative would be to have read all my books, and what would I do then? I wouldn't have anything to read.

Have you had to curb your book buying habits until you can catch up with yourself?

...Not exactly. I've had to curb my book buying habits because (a) no one could ever afford as many books as I want, not even the Bill Gates of this world, and (b) I have already run out of bookshelf space, despite numerous booksheves.

Or are you a controlled buyer, only purchasing books when you have run out of things to read?

That isn't a 'controlled buyer', that's a masochist. Imagine reading your last book, and having to wait till the bookstores open for another one - ! That's unthinkable. No, I control my book buying habits by not exceeding my own book budget by too very much, and by knowing that the more books I buy, the more I'll need to get rid of, or else be buried in them.
