Your opinions and knowledge seem interesting to me - how often to I meet people who like to talk about history? Not nearly often enough!

I've only lived in a different country once, and briefly - that was England. I did a lot to overcome my shyness there - which was difficult, and I'm still fairly shy. But I like people and find them fascinating; I am what [livejournal.com profile] maaboroshi calls "a hub". Which is a comfortable and happy place for me to be.

I am a passive person too, in a lot of ways, but I try to fight the tendency because - well, I guess, just because I feel I should: I do think it's a good idea to push my comfort zones in ways that expand and enhance life, if I can.

A question for you, and I know you've give me part of the story, but I haven't heard the whole chain of events: how do you come to be living in Austria?
