This was amazingly sensuous and yet at the same time you did a wonderful job of conveying Clark's growing confusion and frustration as he tried to deny what his body wanted of him.

Leave it to Lex to seize upon a way for Clark to make a move and for him to not make any himself until Clark was ready. I'd love to read it from Lex's POV and to see what happens next.

Mmmm, they are fun to write. Especially given the dynamics of the relationship... I love that there are so many possible "first time" scenarios that can be written.

It is my belief that, more than anything else, Lex is a master of strategy. I'm certainly thinking about writing it from Lex's point of view.

Think of a conversation we had while you were writing it: did Lex have the feeling that Clark might show up that early, that day, and was he hoping to set up just the scenario that played out...?

Then again, I imagine that idea has already floated through your mind, eh?

As I plotted and planned it, no, Lex didn't expect Clark to show up: it was a pleasant surprise which he did his best to capitalize on.

I was indoors most of the day, but it seemed pretty nice out when I was out. Humid, but pleasant. Hope you had a good time at the Rideau Centre - I was there at lunchtime. I bought my lunch at the food court and ate it on the rooftop patio - they have the picnic benches out now. I love that spot. It's usually pretty quiet, too.
