Found another good set of questions at [livejournal.com profile] dameange's LJ:

1. What is your favorite part of your body?

My body? My brain. When it works.

2. What makes a woman sexy?

Self-confidence and a focus outside herself. The way she moves. Eye contact. A good smile.

What makes a woman not sexy?

Self-absorption. Anxiety. I guess I don't like the damsel-in-distress scenario.

3. What makes a man sexy?

A warm and mellow voice. The way he moves. A large nose. Eye contact. Self-confidence. A good smile.

What makes a man not sexy?

Anxiety. Lack of focus. Sloppiness. Self-absorption.

4. If you had to kiss...Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson or Mother Teresa
(with tongue) who would you choose and why?

What, I can't have all three?

This strikes me as silly question. Why would they want me to kiss them?

5. What is your first memory and what feeling does it evoke in you?

I'm not sure how old I was; my mother said I couldn't have been older than two, because I was in my "jolly jumper", and I never used that afterwards. I was bouncing on the kitchen table and watching my parents talk by the sink. The memory is very distinct, but I'm not sure of my feelings, or why that moment stayed with me. I think my feeling was happiness. Perhaps I remember it because, being on top of the table in the seat of the jolly jumper, I was getting a new perspective on the room, and seeing my parents' faces without looking up. It was a novelty.

1) What's the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

So many people have done so many kind things for me I couldn't begin to list them. A few things at random: Marcelle, feeding me supper on Sunday when I felt to ill to cook for myself. [livejournal.com profile] maboroshimaki letting me watch the MTV awards at her place last night because I don't get MTV. My dear friend Diane letting me stay with her when my marriage fell apart. Aliya for teaching me about kundalini and ayurveda and asking nothing in return.

2) Out of all of the fairy tale characters (Disney, Grimms, Mother Goose, etc.),
which one best decribes you and the lessons you have learned in life?

My favourite was always The Twelve Dancing Princesses - perhaps because of the lesson, learn all you can before you act.

Or maybe Beauty and the Beast where the message is: "what is essential is invisible to the eye." (from Antone de Saint-Eupery's The Little Prince.)

3) What do you want to be when you grow up?

Grow up? Why would I do that?

The real answer is, I just want to be me. At whatever age I am.

What did you want to be when you were 5?

A writer. That never changed, except for a while when I was 10, and decided to be a scientist because I really wanted to be Reed Richards. That phase didn't last long.

4) What's more important: Lots of friends you can share your life with or only one very good friend who you know you could trust with your life?

Can't I have both? I supposed 'one very good friend' is more important but I don't see this as a mutually exclusive scenario.

5) What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

"Swallow, swallow, little swallow, won't you spend just one more night with me?" - Oscar Wilde, The Happy Prince. I seem to be into quoting princes today. It will be Machiavelli next, probably.

6) If tomorrow you were given the chance to go anywhere, meet anyone, do anything you have ever dreamed of, but you had to turn your back on family and friends, would you take the opportunity?

No. First of all, I don't want to. Secondly - I'm too much of a coward to leap into the unknown like that.
