The cameras of Middle-Earth...

The extended edition of the DVD of "The Return of the King" came out today. I didn't buy it. I bought the extended editions of the others the day they came out, but this year - well, I just don't have the money. So I wait.

But maaboroshi bought it. We have pledged with maaseru and lmondegreen and blackbyrde that we won't watch the movie itself until we all get together on Saturday, so tonight maaboroshi, maaseru and I watched one of the extras : "Cameras in Middle-Earth".

Amazing. Just amazing. I haven't laughed so much in ages, but it wasn't just funny. It was fascinating, and moving, and interesting, and my goodness Viggo is a popular man.

I want to see it again. And again. Patience, patience, patience....

I know that you'll all enjoy the movie when you do see it, and I'm glad that you're getting to see some of the extras now. :-) I won't get to see it until after Christmas, I'm pretty sure, so I look forward to your opinion of the extended edition.

The extras we watched last night were so amazing - I just wish I didn't have to go to work so I could watch more. Let's just say that so far my reactions are very positive!
