I took the bus to work this morning because it was snowing, and they hadn't cleared last night's snow off the roads, and walking was slow and difficult - though not as difficult as it sometimes is.

I should have walked. I had to transfer buses and ended up waiting 25 minutes when I could have walked the last part of the way in fifteen. Maybe twenty. Normally it's a ten minute walk, but not in this snow.

Spent a lot of time on web pages today: at work, at home. Updated the OSFS web pages and tweaked the iyoga pages. Enjoyed doing it. I must be perverse.

Read more of The Persian Boy and then, while washing the dishes, listened to the first part of The King Must Die, also by Mary Renault. It was like stepping back into the ancient world. One of the real histories of Alexander that I requested from the library came in; when will I find time to read it? I'm falling behind on my ancient Greek language study, too.
