I have strong magickal associations with stones. I collect them, almost to the point of hoarding. I'm talking about semi precious of course, not ones from my back yard. I wear five different ones every day.

Ooh. That sounds amazing and magnificent. Thought I have other magical affinities, I have no stone-affinity at all, absolutely none.

I actually have very little otherwise that I feel the energy from. But I feel noticably weaker when the stones aren't with me.

For valentines my hubby bought me a necklace made of Gibeon meteorite, and I won't leave the house without it on now. Its strenghth is amazing.

As for Forever Autumn, yes, I like it a lot. In the book there's a character named Etta who's a cat lady and essentially the town witch. I think she's my favorite original char in a who book in a long time.
